“Where My Girls At?: A Comedic Look at Black Lesbians” Written & Performed by Micia Mosely: Directed by Tamilla Woodard: Produced by Nursha Project™
Micia Mosely’s first solo show, “Where My Girls At?: A Comedic Look at Black Lesbians,” reveals the issues that connect and separate myriad Black women’s communities. Through different personas, Mosely portrays the diversity of Black lesbian experiences, challenging the notion that there is only one way to be Black or Queer in the 21st century. Each performance is unique, as Mosely’s characters engage with the audience in an improvised Question & Answer segment. Fresh, hilarious, and insightful, this show is not to be missed.
Born Brown All Rights Reserved®: Bb:ARR®
Born Brown: All Rights Reserved® is a social enterprise agency that promotes understanding and collaboration among people of color with various origins. Throughout the world, indigenous people and people of color outside of their ancestral homelands are exposed to visual and auditory imagery that pierces the subconscious, creates internalized oppression & racism while furthering their experience of discord in the global society. Bb:ARR® aspires to liberate activists, educators, youth and elders by countering oppressive media with messaging that evokes self-acceptance and self-love. Ultimately, Bb:ARR® exists as a catalyst for education, solidarity, and the exercise of Universal Human Rights.

Sista Stroke has developed a hardcore fan base in cities around the United States, England and Mexico. She is known for beatin it hard, yet strokin' the soul with an incredibly moving blend of deep, funky, and spiritual house music (however, she has more than just house in her arsenal). She has often been booked to open for various acts, ranging from house to hip-hop, such as Afrika Bambaattaa, The Executioners, Tortured Soul, King Britt, Derrick Carter, Joey Beltram, Donald Glaude, DJ Dan, Method Man, Boo Williams, Mark Farina, Kaskade, and Super Jane (Lady D, Colette, Dayhota, and DJ Heather). However, she has now become a headliner herself through consistency in her DJing and a growing discography…www.myspace.com/sistastroke
